In only to see whether this is enogh Bushnell 20 x 50 spotting scope for the detection of a Coues deer 200-300 yards ... well Hunting in Arivaca, Arizona for deer is about 200-300 meters into the canyon or down.

Look at a Nikon, Leupold, Leica, Zeiss, before you buy. You can use the difference in quality.
If you are the deer at 200 300yds a set of Binos see that a number of purposes, and small enough to serve to preserve the hunting or the use of everything.
Spotting scopes usually have low vision scope and a tripod.
My Binos Leupold be easily observed in 500yds.
Spotting scopes are good for the selection, but suck on the field.
